About
The house sits at the top of Westcourt, a pretty hamlet on the edge of the village of Burbage, five miles South of the historic market town of Marlborough. In the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is perfect walking and cycling country. There are two good pubs within walking distance, and many others nearby. While the local and boutique shops, restaurants and winebars of Marlborough are a short drive away, both Stonehenge and the cathedral city of Salisbury are within half an hour, and Bath, with its newly refurbished Roman Baths, Winchester, Oxford and Bristol, one hour.

Breakfast is served in the Dining Room and will include cereals or porridge, fruit juice, yoghurt, fruit (fresh from the garden in season), local bacon, sausage and eggs, and other extras when available, toast and homemade marmalade and jams. A vegetarian alternative is available.
